While Brightlayer DIT Software, on the other hand, is the full-featured version intended for larger, enterprise-scale deployments. In addition to all the capabilities offered in DIT Lite, it includes advanced features such as visual rack building, location and floorplan design tools, smart alarm configurations, power infrastructure cabling support, interactive navigation maps, predictive analytics through trend charts, and capacity planning tools.

Which manufacturers are supported by Brightlayer DIT software?
Our model library includes more than 30,000 models of devices from hundreds of manufactures across hundreds of device types. If a device is not currently included in our model library but utilizes a common communication protocol such as SNMP, MODBUS or BACnet, we will create a model for that device (requires annual support).
How is Brightlayer DIT software installed?
The easiest and most common method for installing our software is direct deployment to a server in your virtual environment via our Open Virtualization Format (OVF). The software can also be installed on a traditional server or via a cloud implementation.
